This so much better! It's called 'The Comfy Cone' and we found it at Petco. Thanks, Morgan!
Here's a tag from the cone.
He can't scratch at his ears and he seems so much happier wearing this one. It's something you should go out and buy for your pet (cats get aural hematomas too) if this happens to them. This is so much better than a plastic cone! We bought ours in medium, in case you have a Frenchie and want to know which size fits the best.
Yes another cute picture of my best friend. When I dressed his ear today, I left the ear that isn't hurt out for him to hear better. He's not shaking his head with it out.
Cruddy picture but this is the new book I'm reading. I'm also cross-stitching a series by 'Birds of a Feather'. Creatively, that's what I'm interested in at the moment. I like to keep my hands busy with a needle if it's not with a pencil or paper and glue.
I'm almost done with the Christmas/New Year's/Valentine's Day square. I've finished with the Easter/St. Patrick square already.
On a different note, I've finally found the perfect concealer. I've tried everything from Bobbi Brown's little black pot to Lancome. The winner (IMHO) is Maybelline's SuperStay 24HR concealer (mine is in Ivory-10).
I would also recommend Shiseido's White Lucent line (the moisturizing emulsion).
I use it every morning and every evening (after I wash my face with Philosophy's Purity cleanser) along with the rest of the hopes in the jars and tubes.
I wear an SPF during the day to protect my skin. Feeling the sun on your face is fantastic but it'll make your skin look like a leather bag over time. There are ways to combat those lovely liver spots before they do some serious damage, I say go for it.
Well, here it is again. Urban Decay, I love you. This is 'Midnight Cowboy Rides Again.' I know, I know, I've told you about it before but it's true, it's my favorite eyeshadow-ever. I'm officially over MAC. How fickle is woman....
I like Nars (his 'Orgasm' blush is the best), Urban Decay ,and Too Faced.
Today I'll be hanging out with Hugo and Luna and babying my furry boy. I'm going to read a book about sewing (did you know that Martha is coming out with a book next year about sewing? I can't wait!) so that I can finally get around to stitching up some of my Amy Butler and Heather Bailey fabric. I've been afraid to touch it. I love it so much and can't stand the thought of screwing it up! Can you blame me? I'm not a novice but there's something about that fabric that is completely intimidating. There it sits, in the corner, taunting me.
Oh, same with the Amy Butler patterns.
I will learn how to sew-almost like a pro, if I put my mind to it and practice, practice, practice.
